A 50hp National Gas Engine with 7ft flywheel, 12 inch bore, was used to power the looms. Built in 1926 in consumes 5 gallons of Diesel fuel per day. Runs in July each year but can be viewed when the Mill Shop is open (please check with the Mill). The engine was featured on the back cover of Stationary Engine Magazine No.332
